• Sustained inactivity.
• Scope mismatch.
• Quality or review issues.
• IP or conflict-of-interest concern.
• Role no longer matches roadmap stage.
• Contributor cannot meet documentation or clean-room requirements.

Exit Checklist

• Confirm changed files and ownership.
• Confirm IP assignment/license status.
• Remove access if needed.
• Record remaining compensation or incentive questions.
• Confirm no secrets or private material are retained.
• Document future re-entry path if appropriate.
