Visitor App Overview

Visitor App lives at /app-user/visitor. It is a privacy-first visitor

Visitor App lives at /app-user/visitor. It is a privacy-first visitor experience and OS Home presence dashboard.

The app is not invasive analytics. It is an early user-facing surface for understanding who is here now, which public app surfaces are being viewed, broad source categories, and how visitor identity should be governed.

Current UI

The current implementation shows:

  • online-now summary;
  • anonymized visitor counts;
  • active public apps;
  • privacy mode status;
  • Live Now avatar stack;
  • anonymized visitor timeline;
  • three visitor identity models;
  • app interest cards;
  • privacy controls;
  • OS Home presence preview;
  • Early / Mid / Later roadmap.

All content is bundled mock data. No real tracking or realtime backend exists.

Identity Models

Visitor App displays three identity states:

  • Anonymous visitor.
  • Known user.
  • Trusted collaborator.

The default is anonymous visitor. Known user and trusted collaborator are future consent-aware and permission-aware states.

Relationship To Live Center

Live Center is the App Hub incubator for future runtime concepts. Visitor App is the user-facing dashboard for privacy-first visitor experience and OS Home presence.

Both should eventually consume @prox-os/live-runtime, but that package is currently a documentation proposal only.
