Tasks & Reminders Connector

Purpose

Tasks & Reminders Connector is a planning surface for personal tasks, reminders, issue queues, blocked items, and workflow hooks.

Boundary

It is not a Todoist, Linear, GitHub Issues, Apple Reminders, Google Tasks, or full project management replacement.

Current MVP UI

• Provider cards for Todoist, Linear, GitHub Issues, Apple Reminders, and Google Tasks placeholders.
• Today tasks, upcoming reminders, grouped project tasks, AI planning panel, and workflow hook placeholders.

Mock Data Model

The UI uses mock tasks, due dates, project labels, blocked flags, and priority summaries.

Future Connectors

Future work may add task provider adapters, notification rules, calendar focus blocks, and draft task creation.

Alma Capabilities

Alma can later suggest focus blocks, prioritize tasks, summarize blocked items, and create draft tasks for review.

Permission Boundaries

Task reads, draft task creation, and external task updates are separate scopes. External updates require confirmation.

Backend Status

No task API, reminder sync, background worker, backend route, or real task creation exists.

Security And Privacy

Tasks can reveal priorities and commitments. Future connectors should support scope review and audit history.
